Trainees at Audi’s Neckarsulm production site have revealed a modern version of the NSU Prinz 4 and boy is it epic. But wait, What is NSU? Well before Audi was Audi, they were known as the Auto Union and the Neckarsulm facility was previously owned by NSU, a company that merged with Auto Union to form Audi! Though before the merger, NSU was making the Prinz 4, a tiny little hatchback.

instead of the old 30HP 2-cylinder engine from the original Prinz, this resto-mod uses a 240HP electric motor from the Audi e-Tron and a batter pack lifted from the Hybrid Audi Q7e under the hood.

To celebrate the 105th anniversary of the factory, the team decided to redo the Prinz as a wild restomod. And this is an EXTENSIVE one too with the floor pan coming from an Audi A1 and a new modified exterior. The team that designed it were also apprentices, making the project even more impressive.
