As a spiritual successor to the Phantom Coupe, the 2024 Spectre Coupe is here as the long-awaited electric Rolls, an idea proposed 120 years ago. Pricing will be around $400k and it will weigh around 6,500lbs. The Spectre is based on an aluminium space frame with an integrated battery to increase rigidity. And that battery alone weighs 1,543 lbs. But if you are one of the literally hand-chosen customers and you end up flipping the Spectre for profit, Rolls will ban you from ever buying a new car from them.

In an interview with Car Dealer Magazine published earlier this month, Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös said owners caught flipping their Spectres will be blacklisted by the company for life.
He said Rolls-Royce is making efforts to ensure the cars end up with genuine buyers in the first place, and potential customers are required to qualify themselves as part of the selection process for build slots. Müller-Ötvös said customers need to prove who they are and what they want to do with the car as part of the qualification.
Rolls aren’t sharing how big the battery is as of yet but they are saying it can achieve 320 miles of WLTP range or around 260 miles of EPA range. We also don’t know the powertrain layout, only that it makes 577HP and 664 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 in around 4.4sec.
