The Executive Chairman of Zango-Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Hon Francis Sani Zimbo, has gifted five exotic cars to the District Heads in the Council Area.
While distributing the car at the council secretariat, the council chair said the gesture was to assist the District Heads with vehicles to improve their activities toward promoting peaceful coexistence in their community.
Zango-Kataf is one of the LGAs in Kaduna that was plagued by widespread attacks, where residents became Internally Displaced Persons, while communities were deserted, which resulted in a fatal humanitarian crisis.
The chairman commended the traditional rulers and urged them to continue to discharge their duties in their various districts to ensure cohesiveness and mutual coexistence toward building the peace and development that has eroded.
The community marked this as a historic event and the chairman expressed gratitude to God that the historic event was happening during his administration while assuring other district heads that are yet to benefit from the car gift to patiently wait, for more cars are expected.
Ending the remark, the District Head of Madakiya, His Highness, David Kantiok, who spoke on behalf of the District Heads commended the Council Chairman for his magnanimity and assured him of their continuous total support for his government.
