On Thursday morning, a passenger train ploughed into a BRT bus carrying passengers at the PWD intersection in the Ikeja neighbourhood of the state.
One of the people who saw the incident stated that the train was travelling from Agege when it came across a BRT van carrying employees of the Lagos state government who were crossing the track to join Ikeja GRA.
While it was unclear how many people had been killed, the BRT bus was covered in the fresh blood of those who had been injured.
