Toyota added Woodland Edition with standard all-wheel drive and offers an extra 0.6 inch of ground clearance. The 2022 Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition’s all-wheel-drive setup is the same as what’s optional for all Toyota Sienna trim levels. It features an additional electric motor for the rear axle to complement the hybrid drivetrain that uses a 2.5-liter inline-four gasoline engine. This is the first time we’ve seen a Woodland Special Edition from Toyota and it’s surprising since minivans aren’t seen as rugged, off-road vehicles. Toyota’s trying to change that by giving the Woodland Special Edition some nice-to-have features. The special edition comes with an all-wheel-drive and an additional 0.6-inches of ground clearance. The rugged Sienna also has a 3,500-pound towing capacity, which matches other models in the minivan lineup.

The Woodland Edition is also available in an exclusive color called Cement; Midnight Black is the only other option for this trim package. It also features different interior stitching and black badges. Various accessories that are otherwise optional come included with the Woodland model, including roof-rack crossbars, a 1500-watt power outlet, and a tow hitch.

The Woodland Special Edition comes with the same hybrid powertrain as other Sienna models. That means power comes from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors and a battery pack. The combined output is rated at 243 horsepower.
