A few days after the news that the first car made in Africa was manufactured by a Nigerian, the late Dr Izuogu, information has come out to dispute the claim stating that Egypt was, in fact, the first African country to manufacture a locally made car in Africa.

The name of the car is said to be Ramses Gamilla. The Egyptian company El Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company formed the production company in 1960.

Also, AfricaFactsZone notes that the company’s best-selling model was the 128 GLS car.
