The Mercedes-Benz C-Class known as the compact executive cars produced by Daimler AG was introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range that was beginning to go out of fashion. The Mercedes Benz C-Class model W202 is notably built to accommodate family and friend christened ‘family-friendly’ and remained in production up until 2000 when Mercedes introduced the C-Class model W203 that lasted till 2007.
By 1994, development for the W203 had already commenced with the company’s commencement of the design work by mid-1994; and by December 1995 the executive board approved the final design for the model. The design patents were filed on 20 April 1998 and acquired on 4 March 1999. By 1997, testing for the W203 C-Class began, and the development concluded in 2000. The sedan debuted with engine variant of inline-four and V6 petrol engines and inline-four and -five types of diesel, and later included the V6 diesel engine with all engines exclusively offering 160 kW (215 hp; 218 PS) with common rail direct fuel injection and variable geometry turbochargers. W203 C-Class offers the customer the option to purchase a six-speed manual gearbox on some of the range, but the option wasn’t available for with C320 and C32 AMG range.
On 18 January 2007 Mercedes-Benz introduced the W204 C-Class which went on display in the 2007 Geneva Auto Show. W204 C-Class went on sales started on 31 March 2007 in almost all European countries. In the 2011 DaimlerChrysler included a more Stellar version for the 2012 C-Class model which came with LED taillights, a revised dashboard, an instrument cluster layout, and a revised front fascia and headlights and the model range of W204 continued into 2015 with the C-Class coupe.
The W205 model was officially unveiled on 16 December 2013 with production commencing on 4 February 2014 at the Bremen plant and other major plants across the globe. Meanwhile in Europe sales began in March 2014, and September 2014 in North America respectively. There are four body-styled variants from this awesome Mercedes-Benz C-Class 205 chassis model: Sedan (W205), Wagon (S205), Coupe (C205), and Cabriolet (A205). The W205 Mercedes-Benz C-Class got re-invented with a new look in exterior and engines and late made a debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2018.
If the old C-Class model left the world in awe and swept us off our feet, new models in 2020 will probably leave us in a limbo trapped in our own fantasy at the very existence of the craft used in creating such cars. The C-Class comes in: Coupé, Saloon, Cabriolet and Estate.

Downside of C-Class
Active driving sensors vibration, Engine failure (in some cases), and lock problems because the keys cannot be duplicated, due to the nature of the transponder chip.
