Similarly, both the actress and her driver were inflicted with injuries as she claims the robbers used a cutlass on them. One of the photos shared by the actress shows her wounded hand bleeding from the cutlass injury, which was later bandaged in another video. Also, one of the passenger seats in her car was stained with blood.
Apart from sustaining injuries, Actress Kemi Afolabi also confirmed that the traffic robbers wounded her driver on the head with their cutlass. She further stated that her phones and personal belongings were stolen by the notorious robbers. It is unsure yet if Kemi Afolabi has informed the Lagos police about this incident or not.
While making the announcement on the robbery attack, the actress had noted that she was using her daughter’s phone because hers was stolen during the attack.
“This message is typed via my daughter’s phone. If you are not able to reach me for now; you know why. It is well.”
However, shortly after the announcement, it was noticed that Afolabi’s posts have been deleted from her Instagram page.
Her accident ordeal comes days after she revealed that she had prepared for death after suffering the ordeals of an incurable disease with which she was diagnosed.
The case of insecurity on some Nigerian roads, especially in Lagos traffic, has gotten to the point where no one feels safe anymore; not even top government officials or celebrities.
