“Triambulance”: Reaction As Ogun State Government Provides Citizens With A Keke Napep Ambulance

The State Government of Ogun has provided residents with a Keke Napep-made ambulance to transport ill citizens to the hospital or the nearest healthcare centre. 

The pictures of the Keke Napep ambulance were posted on social media by Ogun state residents who reacted by saying: “Visited a village inside Ogun state and this is what Ogun state government gave a health care centre as Ambulance!!! Nigeria, why.”

Since the picture and video of the ambulance surfaced online, many social media users have reacted by saying: 

@iammissmarvel commented: “The kekembulance is practical for villages without good roads sha.”

@adamazi_prisca said: “If you know how many billions it cost to construct this kekembulance eeeehhh.”

@mendiot1 said: “Well as a doctor that worked in rural area during my nysc days this will be a life saver, some facilities don’t have access roads but my own is let it be equipped.”

@orewabeautyshop said: “A lot of hosiptals that charge an arm an a leg even in big cities do not even have ambulances. If it is a rural community where bikes are the convenient means of transport then i see nothing wrong.”
