Top Reasons Why the 2023 Toyota Venza is Worth Buying in 2024

  • The Toyota Venza is a Nigerian sweetheart as a lot of Nigerians dream of owning this car someday.
  • Ever since the Japanese automobile manufacturing company launched the first Venza model in 2009, they’ve improved its features in subsequent models.
  • The 2023 model of Toyota Venza is not an exception as quite several modifications have been made to make it better than the 2022 model.

While there’s no certainty if the Toyota Venza will be returning for the 2024 model year, what’s certain for now is that the 2023 model remains the latest model of the SUV in the market. Now, if you are wondering why you should buy the 2023 Venza, we have highlighted important reasons why it’s worth the purchase.

Overview of the 2023 Toyota Venza

The 2023 Venza competes in the ultra-competitive mid-size two-row SUV class. It has a standard hybrid powertrain of a 2.5-litre four-cylinder with three electric motors. The new Venza’s cabin also provides more impressive features than those two, including an optional panoramic sunroof made from electrochromic glass that can shift from transparent to opaque at the touch of a button.

The 2023 Venza will come with a Nightshade model that dresses it in a darker exterior wardrobe than the rest of its lineup. The Nightshade model will be based on the mid-range XLE but comes with black wheels, black front, and rear bumper accents, a black grille surround, black mirror caps, and black door handles.

The Exterior colours are limited to Celestial Black, Wind Chill Pearl, or Ruby Red Flare. The XLE model gains standard LED fog lamps, and the rest of the 2023 Venza has the same unchanged features as the 2022 model.

The 2023 Toyota Venza Has Many Trims to Choose From

The 2023 Toyota Venza has five passenger seats and is available in four trims which are: LE, XLE, Limited, and the Nightshade Edition. The Nightshade is available in black, white, or red.

The 2023 Toyota Venza Has a Stylish-Looking Exterior

The 2023 Venza surely looks more sophisticated than that of 2022 as the automobile company has smoothened out the curves and edges, hence giving it a more mature look in comparison to RAV4.

The Venza has a nightshade model for 2023 which possesses a darker exterior than the other lineups. The Nightshade model comes with black wheels, black front and rear bumper accents, a black grille surround, black mirror caps, and a black door handle that enhances its looks. However, the XLE model obtained standard LED fog lamps, but the rest of the Venza lineup carries over unchanged to the new model year.

The Venza XLE, which is the best, comes standard with front and rear parking sensors, passive keyless entry, and 19-inch aluminium wheels. All Venza models come standard with all-wheel drive and the exterior colours are limited to Celestial Black, Wind Chill Pearl, or Ruby Red Flare.

The 2023 Toyota Venza Has a Stunning Interior Styling and Design

The interior offers an optional panoramic sunroof made from electrochromic glass that can shift from transparent to opaque at the touch of a button. Unfortunately, the flaws of the 2023 Venza are its smallish cargo area, buzzy engine, and tight cabin which is smaller than many SUVs in its class.

Taking a cue from its measurements, the Venza’s cabin was expected to be larger than that of a RAV4 but the Venza is slightly smaller. The Venza is the first Toyota to offer the optional electrochromic panoramic sunroof that the company calls Star Gaze. At the flip of a switch, the sunroof’s glass panels go from transparent to opaque; this impressive feature is something (until now) that we’ve encountered only on luxury cars such as the Mercedes-Benz SL-class.

The multimedia game of Venza was upgraded as there is a standard 8-inch display on LE and a 12.3-inch display on XLE and Limited, the new getup offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google-based mapping, over-the-air updates, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Venza’s USB ports have been updated too, now offering one USB-A and two USB-C ports. A previously optional head-up display is now standard on Limited trims, as are rain-sensing wipers.

The 2023 Toyota Venza Comes With Lots of Safety Features

Toyota upgraded the 2023 Venza’s safety suite from Safety Sense 2.0 to Safety Sense 2.5. Automatic emergency braking can now help prevent collisions when making unprotected left turns through an intersection, and the evasive steering assistant has been beefed up a bit. The suite also includes adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, but blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, and parking sensors are also included.

Guide to Buying the 2023 Toyota Venza

Remember, the Toyota Venza XLE remains the best model to buy in all trims so pay attention to it. The 2023 Venza is fuel-efficient and that’s a fact many Nigerians consider when purchasing a car. Under the hood of a Venza is an RAV4 hybrid with a less energy-dense battery. However, if you need a car with more cabin space, you can consider getting an RAV4 or a Lexus instead of a Venza.
