Alexandra Mary “Alex” Hirschi born 21 September 1985, known online as Supercar Blondie, is an Australian social media celebrity, presenter, and vlogger based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is best known for her automotive videos, which she posts regularly on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
On moving to Dubai in 2008, she worked as a presenter on a radio station (Dubai Eye 103.8) and was known as ‘Radio Blondie’. As a radio presenter, she interviewed many celebrities about their love for cars.
Alex’s turnaround came in 2018 when she quit her job and started making automobile posts on Instagram to her only 300 followers. As time went on, due to her consistency, she garnered more followers and right now she has over 10 million followers on Instagram where she once had only 300 followers. She also has a YouTube channel with over 7 million subscribers.
Supercar Blondie perfectly describes what it means to pursue your passion and make a lot of money from it. As of 2021, Supercar Blondie’s net worth is estimated to be US$20 million. Not bad for a car-loving girl living out her fantasies.
Alex is married to Nik Hirschi, who doubles as her manager and cameraman. A former banker, Nik started working full-time on his wife’s content in 2018 and has been instrumental in her success.
