As a custom-built aircraft, the Eagle One has additional fuel tanks for an extended intercontinental range.

According to the budget, the Nigerian Government set out N73.3 billion for maintenance, utility, training, and insurance of the Eagle One from 2011 to 2020. Under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, a budget of N18 billion was set out for the maintenance of the aircraft.

This presidential plane seats 25 to 50 passengers, and it comes with luxurious configurations like a master bedroom, a washroom with showers, a conference/dining area, and a living area.
