Lexus unveiled the all-new GX during its world premiere in Austin, Texas, USA. The vehicle is set to be gradually released in different regions, before the end of 2023.

The 2024 GX will be offered in six grades: Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, and all-new for Lexus, Overtrail and Overtrail+.
The 2024 GX will be offered in 11 exterior colour options depending on grade: Eminent White Pearl, Nebula Gray Pearl, Atomic Silver, GX-first Incognito, Caviar, Nori Green Pearl, and Nightfall Mica. The Overtrail and Overtrail+ grades will offer exclusive bi-tone exterior colour combinations including Atomic Silver/Black Roof, Incognito/Black Roof, Nori Green Pearl/Black Roof, and Lexus-first Earth/Black Roof.

The 2024 Lexus GX is Smaller, Yet More Powerful Engine & Capable 4WD Drivetrain
The current Lexus GX is powered by a 4.0-litre V6 engine only in the Chinese market. Everywhere else, Toyota’s trusty 4.6-litre V8 engine does the job very well indeed. With the new GX, Lexus has upped the game by downsizing the engine.
The 2024 Lexus GX will be available with just one engine option — a 3.4-litre V6. However, this one is taken from the larger Lexus LX 600 & Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and it comes with two turbochargers. So, the output figures now stand at 349hp and 649Nm. This is 48hp and 203Nm higher than the outgoing Lexus GX V8. A strong hybrid drivetrain is expected to debut at a later date.
2024 Lexus GX Luxurious Interior & Feature-Packed
Lexus has added so many new features to the inside of the new GX that it makes the old model look very plain. For example, a 12.3-inch TFT screen has been put in place of the old mechanical instrument panel. A 14-inch tablet takes care of the infotainment, and yes, you do get both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A head-up display is another option for buyers.
Premium and Luxury trims offer three rows of seats with space for up to seven with the standard second-row bench; a pair of captain’s chairs are optional and brings the seating capacity down to six. The Overtrail models are strictly two-row affairs with seating for up to five. The GX’s third row offers the option of power controls.
