An owner of the Tesla Model X has converted his luxury electric vehicle into a full home as he adds a bed, and kitchen area and decorates the interior to look like an actual home.

The man who is identified as Sandro van Kuijck has been living in his Tesla Model X for over a year now after he redecorated the interior of the vehicle to accommodate him and his personal belongings.

The young man is said to be a footballer who found himself confused after his football career came to an end. After a lot of deep thinking, he started his YouTube page and went about living an unconventional lifestyle.

Speaking about his minimalist lifestyle of traveling and living inside his car, he said: “To work all your life and then only enjoy 12 years of it, if you are lucky, is not something I want.” The young man noted that his father’s death also cemented his plans to make a huge lifestyle change.

Today, he lives inside his Tesla Model X and has traveled across 49 out of the 50 states in America. He noted that he gave up his Tesla Model Y and chose the Model X because it has more interior space to accommodate him.

He divided the rear of the Model X into two sides. One part contains his bed while the other houses his kitchen area. The man also noted that modifying his Model X to meet his desired standard only cost him $1,200 over N1.2 Million.

The kitchen area in his Tesla is a long drawer that pulls out to reveal the storage compartments and his induction stove. To preserve the car battery, he keeps a separate, solar-powered battery for all his appliances.

Not only is the Tesla Model X his home, but it is also his source of income as he uses his vehicle to deliver food and items while working with companies like DoorDash and Uber Eats.
