It’s not every day that camera captures top celebrities who are mostly chauffeured, driving their own cars in the streets.
However, a camera captured the top American rapper and billionaire music mogul Jay Z, as he drove through the streets of Los Angeles in his Dartz Prombron SUV.
The rapper was seen driving a customized version of the Dartz Prombron that had the rooftops open while he blasted afrobeats, Monalisa by Lojay loudly in his car as he drove past fans who called on him.
The Dartz Prombron is an armoured SUV that was made to order by Jay-Z. The SUV is said to be worth $1.1 million, making it one of the most expensive SUVs. The Dartz Prombron was added to Jay-Z’s garage as he wanted a safe ride for his wife Beyonce, who was then pregnant with his first child. The armoured SUV is said to be bulletproof from AK47 assault rifle rounds and can even withstand direct hits from a rocket launcher.
Jay-Z’s custom Dartz Prombron armoured SUV is powered by GM’s naturally aspirated, 8.1-liter V8 engine. It makes 450 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Except for the Dratz Prombron’s top speed of 155 MPH, no other performance figures of the armoured SUV are available.
