Pharmsavi BBNaija Biography
Saviour Ikin Akpan, who goes by the nickname Pharmsavi was born on the 10th of July 1996 to the family of Mr and Mrs Akpan. He hails from the South-South region of Nigeria, an indigene of Akwa Ibom State. Pharmsavi’s ancestral home is traceable to Onna Local Government Area.
He comes from a close-knit Christian Pentecostal family and spent his childhood and teenage years in Lagos, Nigeria. Although a science student in secondary school, he participated in his church Drama Unit.
Pharmsavi did his primary and secondary school in a private school in Lagos. He studied Pharmacy at a Nigerian university, where he later bagged his degree after five years.

Pharmsavi’s dream has always been to be a Pharmacist. He achieved the dream by studying at the university. After Uni, he did his NYSC in Akwa Ibom, his home state. Here, he worked for one year while building his work experience.
After NYSC, he returned to Lagos and was offered a job at a reputable Pharmaceutical company. Over the years, he has continued to work hard at his job and has gotten several promotions to enable him to elevate his career.
Even as a pharmacist, he nursed the dreams of being an actor and entertainer. He decided to try out the reality TV route to achieve this dream.
However, in May 2022, he auditioned for a spot in the 7th season of Big Brother Naija tagged “Level Up” Edition. Luckily, he emerged as one of the 24 housemates that joined the Big Brother challenge to stand a chance of winning 100 million Naira.

When asked about his personality after emerging as one of the housemates, this is what Pharmsavi had to say about himself.
“I am a perfectionist. People always say I suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) because I like things to be clean and orderly.”
He also hopes Big Brother Naija will help him kick-start his dream of becoming a professional actor. He says, “ I also want to create awareness on drug abuse and misuse, especially among the youth.”
