JET Mover EV utilizes a 107.6 kWh lithium-particle battery pack, and when completely charged, the all-electric 14-seat transport goes 240 kilometres (150 miles) — however, it can cover up to 300 kilometres range without traffic – enough to travel from Lagos to Edo State

• Charging time

With a fast charger, it takes up to 2 hours (120 minutes)to charge from 0-100%

• Life span

The life span of an EV battery is about 8 to 10 years, and the Jet Mover can do about 300km when fully charged.

• Cost

The starting price for the Jet Mover Electric Vehicle  ranges from 22 million NGN to 27 million NGN

• Warranty

All JET Mover vehicles and accessories installed by the dealer come with a two-year/60,000-kilometer limited warranty (whichever comes first).

• Current users

The Mover buses are currently in use by the Edo, Delta and Lagos state governments and the top Nigerian logistics giant, GIG Logistics (GIG).

What does the future hold?

According to techpoint.africa, Two words: African dominance. And the company is looking for funding from VCs and angel investors with a similar mindset and interest in the renewable energy space.

Away from that, while JET Motor Company is currently focused on the mass transportation space, it plans to build passenger lines.

There are also plans to innovate in the battery-swapping technology space.
