Recently, the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ndubuisi from Mbano, in the state of Imo, was celebrated at Okota Palace Way in Lagos. During the ceremony, something remarkable and dramatic had a place.
To everyone’s delight, Blessing, also known as Cubana Lady, gave the groom, Stanley, also known as Young Money, a gift of her three luxurious automobiles—a bulletproof 4Matic SUV, a Highlander, and a Venza.
The bride said that she did so in order to disprove the age-old narrative and the widespread idea that women are always intended to receive rather than give:
“According to the customs and cultures of Africa, and Nigeria in particular, the female counterpart is seen as being of lesser importance than the male equivalent, and this has been the case for a very long time. We want people all across the globe to understand that women have emerged from their sleep and are capable of doing practically anything a man is capable of.
Aji Akara, Ofe Akwu, State Man, Ababa Nawo, and Okey Wa Wurogu were among the dignitaries that were present during the wedding.
Rich and colourful imagery was displayed everywhere over the venue, which served to highlight the event’s already stunning aesthetic.
