The most expensive Bugatti in the world is the La Voiture Noire which comes with a price tag of 9 billion naira ($18 million). This car made its first appearance at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2019, marking the car maker’s 110th anniversary.

The Bugatti model, La Voiture Noire was inspired by the art deco spirit of the Type 57SC Atlantic, which was created by founder Ettore Bugatti’s eldest son, Jean in 1934.
Only four Atlantics were made and only one of the La Voiture Noire was produced. With that, the price of the La Voiture reportedly rose, now costing 9 billion naira ($18 million).
At that time, it was regarded as the world’s most expensive new car.
After all these decades that the La Voiture Noire has held that record breaking tag, the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail took over and broke the record with an increased amount, thereby selling for $28 million.

The La Voiture Noire has a powerful 16-cylinder, 8.0-litre engine which spits out 1,103 kW/1,500 PS and 1,600 Nm of torque.
It does 0-100km/h (0-60mph) in 2.5 seconds and has top speed of 420km/h (261mph).
