Mikano Motors has been exclusively promoting Geely Motors in Nigeria, however, they’ve been having some issues with Geely over expanding to include another Chinese Automaker, Changan. While the company has not been promoting Geely vehicles since July/August 2022, they’ve redirected their attention towards Changan Motord, with whom they’ve been actively promoting ALL their products.

1. Changan UNI-T (N55 Million and Above)

The 2023 Changan Uni-T is a smaller crossover in the ‘Uni’ lineup, that’s compact, but big on features and style. The design of the Changan Uni-T is interesting. It’s impressive to see a crossover like this deliver so many curves and lines that not only look right, they also break some molds when it comes to crossover design. In some ways, it kind of looks like a concept car, but it isn’t.

You get a full suite of LED headlights taillights, and fog lights for starters, a grille that leads somewhere, but it looks like it’s closed off thanks to Changan’s one-piece bumper and grille design. 

Compared to the Changan lineup, the CS55 Plus is a similar car, but take that model and elevate it further and you get the Uni-T. The interior of the Uni-T features a new and improved aesthetic that uses new touches and materials to create a rather dynamic interior.

The Changan Uni-K is one of the most popular vehicles from the Changan Chinese automaker. The 2023 model of this vehicle stands out especially, as it goes toe-to-toe with other popular brands like Toyota midsize SUVs like the RAV4. 

The Changan Uni-k is a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by Changan since 2020 with the 1st generation being the same as the 2023 model. The Changan Uni-k 2023 is available in 2 trims, which are Limited Elite and is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine.

The exterior features of the vehicle include the front features a huge front grille, LED headlights, daytime running lights, and front fog lights. The sides feature 21-inch wheels with 265/45 tires, electrically retractable body-colored door handles, body-colored power folding, and adjustable side mirrors with turn signals. Changan has another model that’s becoming popular in Nigeria. This particular vehicle was modeled to look like the Lexus luxury ride, as is evident in its features. According to critics, the CS75 Plus is the most stylish model in Changan’s lineup. 

The vehicle has an aggressive styling, and thin, swept-back headlamps paired with the wide grille give the SUV a sporty appeal. The interior is adorned with a plethora of red leather, from the dashboard to the side panels, center console, and seats. The interior of the cabin is well designed with plenty of legroom and headroom for passengers.

In the engine category, the CS75 Plus is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged gasoline mill that generates 178hp and 265Nm of torque. This is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels.

4. Changan CS15  (N30 Million and above)

This Crossover SUV replaces the CS35 model and also comes with a brand new chassis adjustment, which translates to comfortable cruising control on the city or highway. It comes with cute styling, which is proof that Changan designers took their creative prowess to another level, resulting in muscular exterior curves that convey surging power. 

The CS15 is restyled with a modified grill and sharp LED headlamp, the latest CS15 Crossover is 4.135 mm long, 1,740 mm wide, and 1630 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2520 mm and trunk capacity of 230 liters, all of which enlarge its interior space.

The vehicle is equipped with an Automatic headlamp, wise and convenient Keyless entry, and one-push start, the interior comes with a silver chrome 7-inch touch LCD screen, which supports mobile phone interconnection and mapping and other basic functions.

In addition to the basic central control lock, the CS15 is equipped with extra intelligent features, including rear parking radar, reversing image, constant speed cruise, front and rear power windows, exterior mirror electric adjustment function, automatic headlights, headlight height adjustment, co-pilot car interior makeup mirror and in-car air conditioning/pollen filtering.

5. Changan CS55 Plus (N40 Million and Above)

The Changa CS55 Plus is an all-new 2023 vehicle crossover SUV with an interesting detailed grill that Changan designers call light and shadow touch. The Changa Cs55 Plus plays with sharp angles and soft lines very well. It has aggressive-looking angular lines across the exterior. The rear view of the vehicle is put together with the most beautiful taillamps, and it has 19-inch wheels that go well with the vehicle’s size and stance.

The vehicle comes with a BlueCore NE15 TGDI 1.5-litre turbo engine that produces 188 horsepower and 200Nm of torque and is coupled with a wet-clutch seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The quiet engine has Eco, Normal, and Sport modes for an adjustable driving experience that makes driving fun for drivers. 

The vehicle has several standard driving assistance safety features: Electronic Stability Program, Hill Hold and Hill Descent Control, Brake Assist, Traction Control System, and Roll Over Mitigation.
