The song Jersalema brought her into the limelight especially due to the fact that its choreography was considered to unite the world during the worldwide pandemic in 2020.

Her debut album Xola Moya Wam’ was released in 2020, containing two successful singles “Xola Moya wam” and “Bayabuza”. The album was certified platinum after a month of its release with sales of 150 000 copies.

In 2020, Zikode signed a global record deal with Sony/ATV Music.

Nomcebo recently bought a new Range Rover Velar and she announced this on Instagram with the caption:

“We Celebrate life

“The big things

“The little things

“And the Things that make us realise how far we’ve come.

“I’m so happy that I am able to share this moment with my family and those closest to me.

“A big thank you to @rangerovertheglen on the new member of our family.

“I’m so grateful to all my supporters, I love you all,” Nomcebo wrote on Instagram.

She also shared a video of herself happily walking into a  Land Rover dealership where she signed documents.

Thereafter, she posed in front of a black Range Rover alongside family members while holding a fresh bouquet of flowers.

She was then handed a bottle of champagne and a set of Range Rover car keys by the dealership employee.

Fans took to the comment section of the post to heartily congratulate the singer on this great accomplishment. The car is worth R 2.1 million which is equivalent to N56.8 million.

The Range Rover Velar is a small luxury SUV, it has a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 247 horsepower. The vehicle comes in two states of tune: 335 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque in the S and R-Dynamic S models, and 395 hp and 405 lb-ft for the R-Dynamic HSE.

The interior of the Range Rover Velar is void of any recognizable controls or iconography. That’s because everything from the steering wheel buttons to the instrument panel and centre stack is either backlit or a screen, seeing everything illuminate on vehicle startup is an entertaining piece of theatre. Everything else, from the wood veneers to the supple leather, emanates a sense of quality. The Velar is more expensive than others in its class, but one moment behind the driver’s seat will prove that the higher price tag is justified.

Range Rover Velar includes active noise cancellation for intrusive road frequencies, a more advanced air purification system, and a second-generation wearable Activity Key, which enables remote locking/unlocking and remote start.
