It Takes Tesla 45 Seconds To Build EVs at The Company’s Production Plant in China

Earlier in the month, the Tesla brand invited the public to see how its Tesla EVs are built in a new ‘Giga Lab’ in China.

Reports from those who visited the production plant in China state that the new concept store in China can build an electric vehicle in just 45 seconds, a process replicating what’s happening at the Shanghai Gigafactory.

People were able to realize this due to Tesla’s recent opening ceremony that was held at the concept store, which opened its doors to those interested in knowing more about the company’s processes and production.

Car experts who visited noted: “Over the years, Tesla has committed itself to excellence and quality, claiming that it wouldn’t matter if an EV were made in America or China, despite massive doubts about it. The Shanghai Gigafactory is one of Tesla’s fastest production sites which focuses on its different EVs, particularly the Model Y, which is popular in Asia and nearby regions.”

In 2022, the Shanghai Gigafactory went through some upgrades as part of the Tesla brand’s commitment to growing its presence in Asia.

As a result of these upgrades, the Shanghai Gigafcatory has increased production output and even celebrated the significant milestone of delivering its one-millionth car. But is the production of an EV within 45 seconds guarantee the quality of the vehicle?

The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, has claimed that Tesla is a manufacturing company above everything else for many years. While the ceremony welcomed many into its Giga Lab, and attendees witnessed some of Tesla’s cutting-edge technology, there’s still the question of how the manufacturing of a vehicle within 45 seconds doesn’t translate to its quality.
