Since the news of the Moroccan footballer Hakimi, who allegedly transferred his entire net worth to his mother’s account, surfaced online, many Nigerians have weighed in on the conversation.
News reports from last week allege that Hakimi’s wife was informed by the court that her “millionaire” husband owns nothing as he registered all his properties under his mother’s name.
Apparently, Hakimi receives €1 million from PSG monthly. However, 80% is said to be deposited into his mother, Mrs Fatima’s account. The reports note that the court told his wife that Hakimi has no property, cars, houses, jewellery, or even clothes in his name.
The news surfaced last weekend and drew a lot of online frenzies as many Nigerians contributed their two cents to the conversation. However, most men praised the footballer for being smart and hedging his finances. One of the opinions was when a Nigerian man reacted by asking women why they’re not quick to repost the news of Hakimi’s “victory.”
In his Whatsapp post, he says: “ But why women no d repost this thing If say hakimi buy Lamborghini for the wife now Una go d repost am To put Una guy on pressure.”
