The 2023 Tesla Model 3 is the cheapest amongst all the 2023 vehicles Tesla released. Although there is now a huge range of Electric Vehicles in the market, Tesla still occupies the #1 spot as the leading EV in the market to date, and it’s the dream of practically every car enthusiast to own their own Tesla.

Well, if you are looking for an affordable model Tesla, the 2023 Model 3 is the cheapest in the recent lineup.

The vehicle is offered in Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) or Performance, priced at $40,240 (approximately N40.2 million)  and $53,240 (N53.2 million), respectively; the Model 3 has been setting the industry standard since its 2017 inception.

The Tesla Model 3 RWD is currently the EV maker’s least expensive model for sale. With a starting price of $40,240 (N40.2 million), the 2023 Tesla RWD packs a punch, especially considering its EPA-estimated range of 272 miles (437 km).

Unlike other Tesla models, such as the older Model 3 Standard Range Plus trims, it recommends charging 100 per cent to maintain accurate range estimates.

Interestingly, Tesla has not made any changes to the 2023 Model 3. In essence, the Model 3 shares similar features with the 2022 model. However, reports from Tesla note that the electric sedan may receive a styling refresh, which might be seen in the 2024 model instead.

The 2023 Tesla Model 3 comes in three trim levels—standard range RWD, Long Range, and Performance. Experts note that the  Long Range model goes from zero to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The Model 3 Performance rockets to 60 mph in just 3.5—0.5 seconds faster than the older model.

The Tesla Model 3 standard RWD can accelerate to 60 (97 km/h) in 5.8 seconds and reach 140 mph (225 km/h). From its lithium-ion 12V battery to its power trunk and upgraded interior, the Model 3 has become more “premium” over the years.

Also, some electric features, including the ultrasonic sensors and passenger lumbar support, have been removed.

All three trim levels of the 2023 Tesla Model 3 have different driving ranges, with the longest driving range of 358 miles being the Long Range trim level. The Base trim, Standard RWD, achieves a measly 272 miles, while the Performance trim achieves 315 miles. Also, all the various trim levels are rated between 113MPGe and 138MPGe.

The surprising thing about the 2023 Tesla Model 3 is that it has a simple-looking interior for a vehicle of its calibre. The front seats are supportive and comfortable, but the rear seats are not as comfortable as the front ones as they are positioned lower and uncomfortable. However, if the rear seat of the Model 3 is rolled up, it can contain about 15 pieces of luggage.

The Model 3 also has infotainment features like Navigation, USB connectivity, Bluetooth, AM radio, and SiriusXM Satellite radio. Surprisingly, it cannot equip Apple CarPlay or Andriod Auto. However, the vehicle offers entertainment features like Netflix, YouTube, and arcade games.
