While the 2024 Toyota RAV4 is not different from the 2023 model, that doesn’t mean the 2024 RAV4 will be sitting stagnant on the sidelines while rivals like the Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, Subaru Forester, and Nissan Rogue have all the fun. For 2024, Toyota added an army green colour, a paint colour already seen on several of Toyota’s bigger trucks and SUVs to the 2024 RAV4. A two-tone color combo will also be available for these variants, paired with either a white or a black roof.
The 2024 Toyota RAV4 will mark the sixth year of production for the current-generation RAV4. Since the model’s introduction in 2019, Toyota has also added some new tech features and new trim levels to this 2024 model. However, the vehicle has not been redesigned.
The 2024 RAV4 Hybrid just like the 2023 model features an angular design with deep body lines, a chiseled front end, dual exhaust outlets, and chunky tail lights. For the 2024 RAV4, Toyota added a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine up front that produces 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Outward visibility is praiseworthy. The interior also speaks of quiet and comfortable ride quality. Also, the SUV boasts abundant cargo and passenger space.

The XLE Premium cuts the compromises, done up with faux-leather upholstery, pleasant plastics, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and a stitched and padded dashboard and center-console armrest.
Lower trims of the 2024 RAV4 come with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, but the Limited and the TRD Off-Road trims get a 10.5-inch display system. The infotainment system includes a 4G LTE mobile hotspot and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. There’s also a JBL premium audio system, navigation, and a wireless charging pad for a smartphone are optional. Most models come with a separate 7.0-inch display in the gauge cluster, but a 12.3-inch fully digital gauge display is optional on the XLE Premium and TRD Off-Road and is standard on the Limited.
On the other hand, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson comes with excellent ergonomics and an abundance of interior space making the Tucson’s cabin a very pleasant place to be. The front seats offer plenty of room, and rear passengers will be able to stretch their legs or recline their seats.
The Tucson offers a sharp set of technology features that work quickly and feel ultra-modern at this price. Firstly, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard and display nicely on the available 10.3-inch touchscreen. If you prefer Hyundai’s native system, the navigation is easy to follow thanks to clear directions and a vivid map that works well in tandem.
The front seats on our Limited trim test vehicle are excellent. They featured plush and supportive cushions covered in nice material and provided good lateral support and power lumbar adjustments. Experts also appreciate the level of quiet and insulation provided while the Tucson is in motion. It keeps noise outside of the cabin out better than most rivals, and you won’t strain to hold a conversation or enjoy the radio even when the wind kicks up.

The 2024 Toyota RAV4 has a standard suite of driver aids that is very impressive. It includes adaptive cruise control that works down to 0 mph, automatic emergency braking, drowsy driver detection, automatic high beams, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and something called Line Tracing Assist, which is an active (but not hands-free) steering aid.
