This video that appeared online shows the brutal accident that happened on Lagos Island this weekend, with the possible cause being the Island’s bad roads.

The accident left a Lexus SUV completely damaged, as the front bumper of the vehicle and the bonnet were completely damaged by an accident.

Although the video did not specify the accident was a result of the bad roads on the Island, the poster @carcontinent admonished car owners living and driving through Lagos Island roads to abstain from speed as the roads are in poor shape.

The post said: “Easy out there guys, our roads are sooooo terrible, there are massive holes everywhere on the island. If you want to do need for speed, do not do it anywhere on lekki epe expressway, you’ll kill yourself.”
