A couple has shared a video showing off how they converted an old school bus into a moving house for their family. Merely looking inside the house, you’d never believe that it was constructed out of an old school bus.

The couple is from South Dakota, and for over two years, they spent time rebuilding an old school bus into a house. According to the wife, Emily, the bus is their living project, as they continue to make improvements every other week.

They call their new mobile house “Aurora The Adventure Bus.”

They explain that the old school bus is more than just a holiday vehicle as they’ve been living on the bus with their car for about a year now.

The dashboard of the bus was revamped to make it look more modern and decorated with some nice potted plants. On the life side of the old school bus sits two televisions and a long kitchen countertop that covers the entire length of the bus.

The couple also had a stovetop and oven installed inside the bus, as well as a shelf for their spices, condiments, and seasonings.

On the right side of the old school bus are their sofa, large fridge, and space for grocery items. At the back, behind the kitchen, is where their bedroom, bathroom, and shower are located.

They redesigned the old school bus to become waterproof. It also has two duct fans that work independently, two diesel heaters, and a 20-gallon diesel tank under the floor, which makes the temperature inside the bus mild.

The couple are both engineers and work remotely, which allows them freely live on the bus. They also noted that they occasionally drive back to South Dakota to spend time with family.
