Car Dealer Shares Process for Buying & Shipping Cars From US to Nigeria, Reveals Insider Secrets

A Nigerian car dealer has made a detailed video directing Nigerians on how to buy and ship cars from the US to Nigeria without any hassle.

The man who posted the video on his social media account @Buy-Rlite Autos noted that he made the video because many have been asking him questions on how to go about buying and shipping cars from the United States of America.

He lists the following steps:

  1. Make the Purchase

The man instructs car buyers to buy from auction grounds like Copart, IAA, or other auctions and that they should make payment immediately, as not doing so will attract a $50 late payment fee. He noted that this could affect and increase the price of the vehicle.

  1. Send the Invoice to the Shipping Company

He noted that after payment, the invoice should be sent to the preferred shipping company, as they’ll be in charge of the transporter for the vehicle.

  1. Transporter Takes Car to Sea Port

He explained that the transporter takes the vehicle from the auction ground to the seaport.

  1. Seaport Verification or Custom Clearing

Here, the car dealer noted that it’d be checked if the vehicle was not stolen before shipping.

  1. Bill of Lading & ETA

He adds that after the vehicle had been loaded, the owner would be given a bill of lading, and before it arrived, the person would be given an Expected Time of Arrival (ETA). Once the ETA is issued, the owner must immediately pay for shipment.

Many who saw the video thanked the man for his detailed explanation, while others wanted to know the best states to buy cars from in the United States.
