The popular American rapper and husband to the most famous female artist globally, Jay Z is believed to own one of the world’s rarest cars that reportedly cost over N8 billion to purchase this car.
The vehicle is none other than the exclusive and limited edition Maybach Exelero. The vehicle was manufactured in 2005 by Maybach designers and engineers who decided to create something unique and invited another automaker, Chrysler to collaborate with them.
This Maubach Exelero is loosely based on the Maybach 57 sedan, however, it comes with its own special set of tires, built exclusively for this vehicle.
The luxury Maybach Exelero that Jay Z has been speculated to own uses a 5.9-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 700 horsepower and is capable of reaching a top speed of 350km/h despite its weight.
While the Maybach Exelero featured in Jay Z’s 2006 music video, reports note that this Maybach Exelero has been in the hands of a private collector for years. However, there are heavier speculations that Jay Z now owns the vehicle, which will not come as a surprise knowing the top-rated rapper and his wife, Beyonce own the rarest Rolls-Royce—the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail.
