Toke Makinwa made her major media debut in 2010 on Rhythm 93.7 FM’s The Morning Drive show as a co-host. In 2012, she made her first television appearance as host of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant, which was broadcast live across Nigeria.  She also co-hosted fly time TV’s  3 Live Chicks, alongside her partners  Tosyn Bucknor and Oreka Godis.
