They were retiring from their journey in a Toyota Hiace bus belonging to the school after purchasing foodstuff for their school. There’s yet to be informed on the cause of the accident. But, the couple in the vehicle has been identified as Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Okeke by the deceased brother, Mr. Ifeanacho Okeke.

According to the eyewitness report given by Mr. Chinecherem Okonkwo states that the accident occurred on the 12th of April during the light rainfall. When he got there, the Toyota Hiace bus was already in flames, and it was too late for the victims to be rescued.
