During its first EV Day event in Seoul, South Korea, Kia unveiled three new models: the EV5 crossover, Concept EV3, and Concept EV4. Although the latter two are still considered concept cars, there are strong indications that they are almost ready for production and will be available in the US market. It’s worth noting that these small to medium-sized electric vehicles are expected to significantly reduce the cost of entry for Kia’s electric lineup, which is certainly exciting news.
Kia has recently unveiled their latest EV3 and EV4 concept models, which are almost ready for production and expected to take the industry by storm. Kia’s new lineup of electric vehicles aims to offer consumers a range of products, priced from N30 million up to N80 million, with a target of selling 1.6 million units by 2030. The EV3 is a compact SUV positioned below the EV5, while the EV4 is a coupe-like sedan. Both models feature natural interior materials.
The cute EV3 features a shrunken EV9 design language with softer edges and a sleek new interior with soft mood lighting, minimalist layouts and ergonomic seats. The seats are made from natural fiber and the center console was grown from mushroom roots.

The EV4 is a funky-looking thing with a more complex shape, a smooth body, and a similar minimalist interior. The difference here is Kia’s use of hemp fibres, 100% recycled cotton, and hand-woven knit. The EV3 will go on sale by 2025, with the EV4 coming a bit later.
