A man named Daniel Wanyeki has found himself leaving and sleeping on the streets of Toronto, Canada, after arriving in the country and realizing the shelters were full.
The 33-year-old left his bank job in Kenya and made his way to Canada to secure a better future for himself. According to his conversation with CBC News reports, he slept on the streets for two days.
While living in Kenya, the young man worked as a banker after securing his degree in tourism management. He told CBC News that he’s now working on getting his driver’s license and hopes to work as a truck driver, as it’s the Canadian field experiencing a major labour shortage.
