His first appearance as a professional footballer came when he was 17 years old in a League Cup, where he played as an unused substitute against West Bromwich Albion in September 2013. He sealed a long-term contract with Arsenal in October 2015. Throughout his career at the Arsenal club, he made 149 appearances and scored 15 goals.
