“I will peper u guys this week” Celebrity Car Dealer gets electric car “Neta Aya” to use for free as Nigerians battle fuel scarcity

As Nigeria battles for fuel scarcity and an increase in PMS prices, electric vehicles are set to redeem motorists in the country.

The fuel scarcity in Nigeria has continued for some days now. The Punch reports that black marketers have taken advantage of the situation, selling as much as N1,300 per litre and N1,500 per litre in parts of Lagos and Ogun states. Long queues started building up at fuel stations in Abuja and Lagos on Friday and have persisted.

The celebrity car dealer stated he made a complaint about how the fuel scarcity was affecting things for him and his friends at EVworld sent him an electric vehicle, he added: “So I get an electric vehicle for a whole week and the full charge does 41 km”. Car Content then dropped his fuel car as he gets an electric car for a whole week. According to him,

The Neta Aya was launched in 2020. The Neta Neta Aya rides on the HPC platform which is shared with the Neta U and is powered by a single electric motor to the front axle shared with the Neta N01, with a power output of 75 bhp (56 kW; 76 PS) and 175 N⋅m (129 lb-ft) of torque. The Neta V is a battery electric vehicle equipped with a lithium-ion battery delivering a range of 401 km (249 mi) rated by NEDC. At the same time, the electric crossover accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h (0 to 31 mph) in 3.9 seconds.
