In driving, nobody is above making mistakes or driving their cars into a ditch or a gutter, like the case of the one in the picture. What defines a competent driver is not just your ability to drive competently or obey traffic regulations. It’s also how you manage to get your vehicle out of situations like this one.

If you’re trying to park your vehicle, and for some reason, you find out that you’ve almost driven the car into the gutter, how will you drive your car out of this situation? Will you need to move backwards or forward to prevent this vehicle from entering the gutter?

@odinkz44 commented: “Judging from the pic it’s just the driver side tire that’s in the gutter. If it’s a four wheel drive it’s just to put your gear in “D2”” and drive forward with your steering tilted towards your right. The pressure from the remaining three tires will help it out.”
