The Kona Ev also can charge from 10-80% in 41min which is significantly slower than the more advanced 800v system in the Ioniq 5. The Kona EV also features an i-Pedal and a Smart regen system. It also features V2L capability. New standard features include battery pre-conditioning, a charging port designed to break through ice if frozen, and more.

The best-in-class EV featured 258 miles range at an attractive sub $40,000 price. However, the Kona electric has faced stiff competition since its debut with EVs such as the Chevy Bolt (259-mile range) and the Tesla Model Y (over 300 miles range) hitting the market.
