This recent video that appeared online shows off a neatly-used Mercedes-Ben G-Wagon worth about N200 million. However, the brand new version of the same G-Wagon costs N250 million in the Nigerian market.
The video that shows off the vehicle was shared by the Instagram account @carcontinent with the caption: “This Mercedes benz Gwagon sells for atleast 250m. Do you think its absolutely worth it or nah, its just ridiculous? Please give your reasons like a smart person.”

@thatking_ben commented: “Its not worth it. Too overpriced for an off-road vehicle. But still appropriate for Nigerian roads. Not the best luxury vehicle, not the best suv, not the best off-road vehicle, not the best sports suv. I don’t see reasons why it should be that expensive.”
@sonorfmercy commented: ‘It’s the Naira… This car used to be around 100 to 150 Million as at early last year.. why the price of the used one skyrocket… But no lies the SUV dey enter eye . Especially the White G63.. I can it chandelier … I call it Ghost “
@oghenekevweug commented: “If you are at the point where you can afford 200 mil for a car then it’s no longer about the car but the status symbol, if not, a lot of cars can do better and cost less. A Land Cruiser 2012 can do the same off road functions as it”
