Wilfred Ndidi was born on the 16^th of December 1996 and began his senior football career in 2015 by playing for Genk, a Belgian Pro-League team. He is a native of Delta State, Nigeria but was raised in Lagos, Nigeria.

He stayed at Genk for a year before he signed a transfer deal of 17 million Euros with Leicester City, which was then confirmed on the 5^th of January 2017. He solidified his stance as a player in the club scoring a goal against Everton on 7^th January 2017.
