A recent video shared on Instagram shows the exact reactions of African parents when you finally show them your Tesla car.

The video posted by the Instagram account @darrylskits gives the exact reactions African parents will give when you show them your Tesla car.

In the video, the content creator shared that some of the reactions of African parents when they first spot your Tesla is complaining about the colour, especially when you get the red-coloured Tesla. They will want to know why you chose the red Tesla instead of a white one.

He also added that African parents will wonder why the Tesla is always quiet when driving it, why the seats are white, and what will happen if palm oil pours on the seats. They’ll equally wonder why the roof of the Tesla is glass.

In general, the content creator was mimicking some of the cultural shocks African parents will have when they see a Tesla for the first time.

Here are some of the reactions to the post:

@aitto commented: “What will palm oil be doing in my Tesla sir?”

@breeze_mdm said: “My mother said “I know America is hard that’s why you bought a cheap electric car” me and my long range Tesla find cry that day. I had to tell her the price to give my Tesla the respect it deserves.”

@esesarah said: “The accuracy, they like it but must always look for something to say.”

@el_sotomi reacted: “Yo!!! Why is RED?!!! Gather here if your mom has a problem with RED OR BLACK color.”

@hey.daughter commented: “I feel like you’ve been following my dad around…Why why why everything. But my question would be why are you carrying palm oil in my Tesla car?”
