Obinna Iyiegbu recently celebrated his 50th birthday over the weekend, and what a celebration it was. We’re sure the city of Abuja is still buzzing from all the excitement that filled the air, as guests from across Nigeria and even abroad gathered to celebrate with the business mogul, Obi Cubana.
Although Obi Cubana is based in Abuja, he spends some of his business and free time in Lagos. Some may be wondering what the naira billionaire drives when he is in Lasgidi. On several occasions, Obi Cubana has been spotted in a white 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography.
The Range Rover has been the SUV of choice for Nigerian celebrities and wealthy elites for decades. Even though it pampers its passengers like a luxury car, it still offers off-road capability, allowing it to venture well off the red carpet. All models come with all-wheel drive, adjustable air suspension, and plenty of ground clearance.
Obi Cubana’s 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography offers inline-six, plug-in-hybrid, and V-8 powertrains with various luxury features, including massaging seats in both rows, rear bucket seats, power-deployable rear-seat tray tables, and a beverage chiller.
This 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography is the fifth generation, but Land Rover has tweaked the powertrain lineup for 2024. The plug-in-hybrid P440e has been replaced with a more powerful P550e, which produces 542 horsepower. P400 and P530 models see no changes to their horsepower ratings, but the top-spec SV model is now powered by a 606-hp V-8 engine that wears the P615 moniker. Elsewhere, Land Rover has introduced a new customisation service called SV Bespoke, which provides buyers with more opportunities for personalisation when building their dream Range Rover.
This particular Obi Cabana trim is priced at 560 million naira, as a special edition featuring Cream Ash Burr and white ceramic interior trim, pearl oyster accents, two-tone leather upholstery, specially embroidered cushions, and unique 23-inch wheels with white inserts. The result is fairly spectacular; only seven will be built.
