Finally, we have the 2024 Toyota Tacoma, Riding on the new TNGA-F architecture, the Tacoma FINALLY gets a major redesign, including a new optional fully redesigned multi-link coil rear suspension (leif springs are on lower-spec models)! The all-new Toyota Tacoma is fueled by two brand-new 4 cylinders 2.4-litre turbo long-haul engines, the SR standard model is available with a 2.4-litre turbo 4-cylinder engine with 228 hp and 243 lb-ft torque equivalent to 329 NT
Higher models will have higher power with the same 2.4-litre turbo 4-cylinder engine with 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft torque at 430 NW, they are related to 8-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission.
The 6-Speed manual models get 270HP and 310 lb-ft of torque.
The top-of-the-line i-Force MAX uses a 2.4L Turbo 4 paired to a hybrid system to make 326HP and 465 lb-ft of torque. Max towing is rated at 6,500 lbs and payload at 1,709 lbs.
four-wheel-drive models have an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case with high/low range along with Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) and an automatic limited-slip differential (Auto LSD). TRD models get an e-Locking rear diff while the Limited spec gets a centre-locking differential and full-time 4WD.
The new Trailhunter model features more goodies like an integrated air compressor, power ports and more. Some more new available features include a front stabilizer bar disconnect, a 33.8-degree approach, a 23.5-degree break over, and 25.7-degree departure angles on TRD Pro, 360 cameras, and SO MUCH MORE.
