Tobi Adegboyega is a Yoruba Nigerian pastor born on the 11th of November 1980 to Pastor and Mrs C.A Adegboyega in Sango, Ibadan is also his state of origin. Tobi is a Nigerian pastor based in the United Kingdom and the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation) a UK-based pentecostal church.

He is currently married to his wife of 10 years, Tosin Otedola. The couple tied the knot on August 20, 2011, and are both currently living in the UK with their children. He is a younger brother to Dapo Adegboyega, who is also a resident minister at SPAC Nation, and cousin to the British-Nigerian actor John Boyega.

Tobi Adegboyega Career

Pastor Tobi’s ministry career started in 2008 in the UK, three years after he moved from Nigeria to London. Before leaving Nigeria, he trained as a lawyer and hoped to get a Doctorate. However, the dream of becoming a minister overpowered the quest for a Doctorate.

The Pastor has also revealed that before he was called forth to become a pastor, he dealt with drugs and many other vices, and his past antecedents are what inspire his church’s focus. 

He started as a pastor under Prophet Samson Ayorinde of the World Evangelism Bible Church (WEBIC) before leaving the ministry to set up his church, SPAC Nation, in 2008.

Pastor Tobi has noted that he started the church upon realising that he had a calling and to fulfil his desire to help people. Initially, the focus of SPAC Nation was to help Black people in London who were criminals and gang members. His vision for SPAC Nation was for it to become a beacon of hope and redemption for people who have previously gone astray.

In 2020, Pastor Tobi stepped down as the General Overseer/Lead Pastor of SPAC Nation as he handed over to Samuel Akokhia and Damy Balogun.

Aside from his ministerial career, he also invested in cryptocurrency and a chain of African Food businesses in 2016. He is also in property Development, where he buys old and dilapidated houses and renovates and resells them.

SPAC(Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church) Nation is known as the “Nation Family.” It was founded in 2008 and started mainly with only three members. The church is currently situated in Croydon, South London. However, no permanent location exists because the church holds its Sunday service at expensive hotels and conference suites.
