So many EV carmakers have worked hard with their various EV cars. The unspoken goal is to be so good that they dominate the EV car market Tesla cars have dominated for a while now. That’s also what Sony-Honda is up to with their new EV car, especially because it might be landing with a built-in PS5.

The plans to add the built-in PS5 are still in the rumour stage. The president of Sony Honda Mobility, Izumi Kawanishi, is quoted saying, “Sony has content, services and entertainment technologies that move people.
“We are adapting these assets to mobility, and this is our strength against Tesla,” he said to the Financial Times.
As though that’s not already cool enough, Sony’s music and movies could also feature in its future EV.

Sony Honda Mobility is a joint electric vehicle venture between the electronics brand Sony and car manufacturer Honda.
Sony-Honda is not just concentrating on working towards producing an entertainment-focused electric car, though.
The joint venture is concentrating on perfecting a fully self-driving car, too.
The President of Sony-Honda Mobility said, “to enjoy in your car, you have to make it a space where you don’t need to drive.
“The solution for this is autonomous driving.”
The Sony-Honda EV Release Date
Sony-Honda plans to make the first North American deliveries of the yet-to-be-named vehicle in early 2026.
Although no one knows the car’s name yet or what it’ll look like, Sony’s been teasing it since 2020 when it revealed its Vision S 01 concept and the SUV 02 version at CES 2022.
The Sony-Honda Mobility now claims its first car will be unveiled in Las Vegas on 4th January 2023 ahead of the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) on the 5th of January.
