In Lagos, nearly a day passes without one weird activity going on. Earlier this month, a video surfaced on the internet of a car undergoing bodywork caught being driven with a covered windscreen.
The first thing that comes to the mind of anyone that hears this is, “how possible?” But, in Lagos, anything is possible, including driving on a busy road with a blind windscreen. So, how does the driver see oncoming vehicles without causing a road accident?
The car was covered in white paint, and the windscreen was covered with paper. Regardless of the risk, the driver was already putting himself and the car through. He still tries to overtake another vehicle without fear.

It was appalling because his little road theatrics caused a stir on the busy road and in the minds of those who watched the video on social media.
The video footage was shared on social media by naijaeverything on Instagram. To support his journey through busy streets, the driver decides to open the driver’s seat door and use it as a guide to get a clear view of the road ahead of him.
Indeed, the driver’s performance caused a traffic jam on the busy road as he tried to guide his car by opening and looking through the driver’s seat door.
Indeed, this incident reflects the type of things you’ll encounter on Lagos streets. And the result is either a fatal accident or a traffic jam like he caused.
Even though days have passed since the incident, it’s still got many Nigerians thinking because, in a functional environment, such things won’t be happening.
