The Toyota Camry Hybrid is a mid-size car that aims to challenge competitors such as the Honda Accord and the Hyundai Sonata. Despite not being the most exciting option, it is favoured for being affordable, spacious, and efficient.
The 2025 Camry Hybrid has undergone a revamp in its interior with modern infotainment tech and styling inspired by the larger Crown sedan. It has also improved its fuel efficiency by switching to include only two hybrid options, eliminating the V-6 and nonhybrid four-cylinders.
The new hybrid-only Camry is available in both front- and all-wheel drive and can produce up to 232 horsepower. In terms of pricing, the Camry is very competitive, with a fully loaded XSE AWD model with the Premium Plus Package and two-tone paint costing 48 million naira.
In comparison, the base 2024 Honda Accord has a lower price of N35 million, but stepping up to an Accord Hybrid costs N38 million. The base 2024 Hyundai Sonata costs N32 million, but again, it costs more to go hybrid, with the hybrid version costing.
