What Would Be Inside The Model Y Superyacht?
The Model Y yacht will be completely electric, making it silent on the water.
It will also rely on solar and hydroelectric power.
So, what else is contained in this yacht that gives it the price tag of $700 million?
The self-charging Model Y will be 40 meters (131 feet) long with two decks, two bedrooms and a jacuzzi.
The lower deck will have tables that can turn into seats with the touch of a button.
The top deck will have a bar and dancing area, covered by a massive roof with hundreds of LED lights that glow at night.
Inside the yacht will have a circular bar, a lounge suite and two beds.
But, what is believed would set this yacht apart from other models is its electric engine and self-sustaining capabilities.
At the very top of the ship will be a solar panel that charges two lithium batteries.
It will also have a turbine that works to turn waves into energy.
Who Is Behind This Big Project?
The renders of the yacht were created by the Tesla designer, Dhruv Prasad and touted it as Tesla’s next big thing.
But, it’s been reported that Elon Musk, Tesla CEO has had nothing to do with the project and has never publicly backed it.
Even though there’s no official information concerning the release date from Tesla, fans are desperately anticipating the project will be backed by the company, making it come to life.
The belief is that if Elon Musk can successfully send rockets into space and make strangely real humanoid robots, he can make Model Y happen.
Conclusion
While there’s still debate on whether the Model Y will be a reality, one thing about this superyacht that has to be discussed further is its price. Else, the only person that can be able to afford this will be Elon Musk and anonymous rich people.
