Tesla has issued a recall for over 11,000 of its Cybertruck models due to a defect in the windshield wiper motor.

The issue, affecting vehicles built between November 2023 and June 2024, poses a significant safety risk as the wipers may fail during operation. Despite these setbacks, Tesla remains committed to resolving these issues promptly to ensure the safety and satisfaction of its customers.

Billionaire Elon Musk’s firm issued the physical recall to fix an issue in which “the front windshield wiper motor controller may stop functioning due to electrical overstress to the gate driver component” on affected vehicles, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration filing.
