Tesla On Autopilot Chased By Police After Driver Falls Asleep

A 45-year-old Tesla driver in Germany is being investigated for after he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel while his car was in autopilot mode.

Traffic officers in Bavaria attempted to pull the vehicle over for a traffic check, but it failed to stop for 15 minutes despite officers sounding their horns repeatedly.

The driver is accused of switching on the autopilot feature and reclining his seat, leaving the car to cruise along the A70 near the Bavarian town of Bamberg.
