Kamal Iliyasu, also known as Kamal Aboki, was a well-known Hausa comedian. He is said to have died.
On Monday, the comedian was driving from Borno to Kano State when he was killed in a car accident.

Usman, his older brother, talked about his death and said that their mother had a feeling that something bad would happen to Kamal on Monday. This was reported by BBC.
He said that the person who makes skits went to Maiduguri three days ago to help launch an album. On the way back to Kano, he was in a terrible car accident that killed him.
“On Monday, my mother asked me to call Kamal around 5 pm. When I did, he told me he was already in a car going to Kano. Then, my mom began to feel something. Later, I got a call from someone who wanted to know if I had anyone going from Maiduguri to Kano, and I said yes. The caller told me what had happened to me at that time.”
Usman said that Kamal’s death had upset his family and that he would be missed very much. Kamal is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet.
“He is always making people laugh and having fun. “He’ll be missed by everyone,” he added.
